We live in an era that scholars call ‘anthropocene’, stressing the crucial role of human activity in biospherical and geological changes. A transition is also happening towards a qualitatively different state of the civilisation. Increasing globalisation and the opposite movement of preserving national identity, a strong increase in the complexity in the ecological, technological, and social areas — an artificial world that increasingly separates man from nature — along with unprecedented pressure on the biosphere by civilisation, all challenge humanity to select the only option that can ensure the preservation and development of civilisation. However, the structure of our knowledge does not correspond with the depth and importance of the challenges that face humanity.
In this article, a new non-invasive diagnostic method, determination of melatonin in effect ‘bystander’, is compared with a routine determination of the basic metabolite of melatonin 6-COMT in the urine. Melatonin is a hormone that plays an important role in the homeostasis of the organism, and it possesses antioxidant and anti-tumour effects. Night insomnia problems lead to a decrease in melatonin production, a phenomenon that is often observed in older people who suffer from this ailment. Somatic pathologies are developed with the passing of the years, and malignant formation incidences are more numerous. Thus, patients of more than 60 years of age with various pathologies have been chosen for the study. The objective of the study involves comparison of the level of expression of melatonin in the cells of the buccal epithelium with the level of excretion of 6-COMT in the urine of elderly people.
In the 1920s, Alexandr Gurvic, a biologist, expressed an idea, or rather predicted, that the chromosomes are ‘the equivalent of the field’ (‘field’ in the sense of physical fields). It was a brilliant forecast, which after 80 years is captured in a new branch of biology (and of medicine), linguistic-wave genetics, which developed from two mutually complementary positions.
The purpose of the study consists in the analysis of the level of expression of signal molecules in normal endometrium of women to evaluate the effectiveness of the impact of the information fields (IFs).
The study evaluates the effect of the information fields (IFs) on lymphocytes differentiated from mononuclear cells of the peripheral blood. For the control, a sample of blood of a healthy woman was taken.
The traditional theme of philosophising is the study of the possibilities of our knowledge of the world and man himself. The human state in the world imposes a requirement: a constant overcoming of the limitations of a time and a place. The history of knowledge is not only a linear process of accumulation of data but also a process of irreplaceable losses. The doctrine of the original spiritual tradition asserts that there is a consistent and original source of being, truth, and knowledge. We can find a symbolic presence of this primordial tradition in different cultures, traditional doctrines, metaphysics, and religions. The Information-Energy Doctrine created by Sergey Konovalov is not marginal concerning the terms of the tradition, despite its modern scientific terminology. Both doctrines correspond with each other in many instances. In Russia, the Information-Energy Doctrine emerged because the mentality of Russian people and the main idiosyncrasy of Russian culture entail a cosmic attitude that includes the earthly life in the universal processes.
This study aims to examine some aspects of medical knowledge and philosophical views of the Hippocratic corpus, which, in the light of modern concepts of Information Medicine founded by professor, academician, and doctor of medical sciences Sergey Konovalov, acquire special relevance and allow us to re-examine the history and importance of information medicine in the context of the development of world science. The study was carried out on the basis of the original Greek texts traditionally included in the Hippocratic corpus.
Modern man is surrounded by numerous and varied streams of information. The social environment has many sources of powerful information that impact man, his consciousness, and his subconsciousness. Therefore, the problem of the psychological security of the person is increasingly becoming realised. The influence of information from the social environment on man is determined not only by his personal characteristics but also by his biology, where psychology and biology are inseparably linked. Physical health depends on mental health. It is therefore important to examine the information security of man not only from the social point of view but also from the biological point of view. The latest advances in science require a review of the concept of ‘information’ itself and adoption of the concept of world order based on the Information-Energy Doctrine as a synthesis of advanced knowledge. The time has come for a new scientific discipline in psychology: information psychology.
Nowadays, the model of genetic coding (code of the biosynthesis of proteins), proposed by M. Nirenberg and F. Crick almost 50 years ago, suffers severe erosion. Tactically, it is correct: the organisation in triplets and degeneration of the code expressed in the existence of synonymous codons are evident. But the postulate of Nirenberg–Crick that the coding of amino acids is a singular value, i.e., strategy, raises a reasonable doubt. The reasons for those doubts arose very quickly: It was shown that the triplet UUU simultaneously encodes phenylalanine and leucine, which does not correspond to the declaration of uniqueness of DNA-RNA encoding the amino acids in proteins. On the other hand, the ambiguity of coding came automatically from the postulate of F. Crick about pairing wobble (randomness, not determination) of the third nucleotide in codon. This means that the 3'–5' pair of codones–anticodones are not involved in the coding and are the ‘crutch steric’. In fact, amino acids are encoded not by the treble but by the doublet of nucleotides within the triplet by Ulf Lagerkvist’s ‘two out of three’ rule.
The author considers the information field as a primary medium that influences physiological processes in living organisms. In this paper, the results of experiments proving the beneficial effects of the highly concentrated information field on live tissue cells are reported for the first time. The method consists of studying the expression of signalling molecules in endometrial cells.
